Carol Kent Yacht Charters is a boutique and independent yacht charter company offering a variety of cruising options and destinations. Attending a minimum of three Yacht Charter Shows each year; we are charter specialists arranging customized travel.
You may choose a romantic weekend getaway in New England to a “SEABATICAL” across Atlantic or exploring the chain of Caribbean Islands for any length of time you desire.
Why Charter? It is an opportunity to explore cultures, coves and bays up close where cruise ships can not go. A yacht charter allows you to travel at your own pace and your own itinerary.

Fully Crewed: Your professional Captain and Chef (plus crew depending in the size of the yacht) will cruise typically in your desired cruising destination; 7 nights and 8 days! 80% of the charter industry is in the US & British Virgin Islands.
Captain Only: The features of a “Captain only” charter vacation is simply – you are not responsible for the boat. A hired Captain is a professional and knowledgeable person who will be of service to navigate, anchor and take care of your yacht – while you enjoy the freedom of cruising.
Booking by the Cabin: “The man who travels alone – leaves today!” If you want the experience of sailing and are interested in joining a boat for a week – this charter option is for you. Whether you are single or a couple – discover some of the yachts that offer luxury, learn-to-sail or catamaran cruising on charter yachts that range in size from 47′- 72′.
Flotilla Sailing: Corporate Incentive groups are fun when you have 4-5 fully crewed catamarans sailing in tandem – island hopping in the British Virgin Islands. They offer equal accommodations for the lucky winners!
Learn to Sail: Want to explore a cruising area you are not familiar with AND take the helm to be your own Captain? During special times of the year and destinations in the Caribbean and the MED, you may contact us to see if this option fits your needs. Sailing with a head boat and other like minds on 35’-50’ bareboats – allows you to explore and enjoy a new area with the aid of cruising with others.
Barging in Europe: We offer fully crewed barges that are “floating hotels” in the rivers flowing through France primarily. You may also want to take the helm of you own barge by “skippering your own”.
